The fish and chips, and the seafood chowder were amazing. It made for a great (late) lunch after exploring the Louisbourg fortress. The service was excellent and the cafe is really cute. I would recommend to anyone passing through. The drinks are also very affordable and tasty!

Here’s a polished version of your review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful dining experience at Spoondrift! We ordered the turkey dinner special and the grilled haddock, and both meals were delicious, plentiful, and served piping hot. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. Thanks to our server Kathryn for a loving dining experience. Highly recommend this spot!

Be sure to make reservations! The total experience is well worth it. My husband had the cajun seafood boil, with the chowder to start, & a mixed berry crisp al a mode for dessert. He was a VERY happy man. Our server was amazing! Turns out she's a Kathy with a "K", as I am, and we share the identical middle name. How cool is that?! Thank you, Kathy & the gang, for a first class foodie experience!

Love this place! This is the type of café that you see in soap operas or Hallmark movies. We had chicken wings, fish and chips, pan-fried haddock and the Club sandwich. Their Spoondrift salad was amazing. Service was great too. You gotta eat here!

Loved this place. We had the spinach salad and the club sammie. And the fries were perfect. The staff were so nice. (I took a few bites of the salad before I took the picture.)
